That's My KING

That's My KING
Matthew 28:6 "He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
1Peter 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of  Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.

Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Colossians 3:1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

 "That's My King"

The late Dr. S. M.  Lockeridge, a pastor from San Diego, California
said these words in a sermon in Detroit in 1976:

My King was born King. The Bible says He's a Seven Way King. He's the King of the Jews - that's an Ethnic King. He's the King of Israel - that's a National King. He's the King of righteousness. He's the King of the ages. He's the King of Heaven. He's the King of glory. He's the King of kings and He is the Lord of lords.
Now that's myKing!

Well, I wonder if you know Him. Do you know Him? Don't try to mislead me. Do you know my King? David said the Heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork. My King is the only one of whom there are no means of measure that can define His limitless love. No far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of the shore of His supplies. No barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing.

He's enduringly strong. He's entirely sincere. He's eternally steadfast. He's immortally graceful. He's imperially powerful. He's impartially merciful. That's my King. He's God's Son. He's the sinner's saviour. He's the centerpiece of civilization. He stands alone in Himself. He's honest. He's unique. He's unparalleled. He's unprecedented. He's supreme. He's pre-eminent. He's the grandest idea in literature. He's the highest personality in philosophy.

He's the supreme problem in higher criticism. He's the fundamental doctrine of historic theology.
He's the carnal necessity of spiritual religion. That's my King.

He's the miracle of the age. He's the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him. He's the only one able to supply all our needs simultaneously. He supplies strength for the weak. He's available for the tempted and the tried. He sympathizes and He saves. He's the Almighty God who guides and keeps all his people. He heals the sick. He cleanses the lepers. He forgives sinners. He discharged debtors. He delivers the captives. He defends the feeble. He blesses the young. He serves the unfortunate. He regards the aged. He rewards the diligent and He beautifies the meek. That's my King.

Do you know Him? Well, my King is a King of knowledge. He's the wellspring of wisdom. He's the doorway of deliverance. He's the pathway of peace. He's the roadway of righteousness. He's the highway of holiness. He's the gateway of glory. He's the master of the mighty. He's the captain of the conquerors. He's the head of the heroes. He's the leader of the legislatures. He's the overseer of the overcomers. He's the governor of governors. He's the prince of princes. He's the King of kings and He's the Lord of lords. That's my King.

His office is manifold. His promise is sure. His light is matchless. His goodness is limitless. His mercy is everlasting. His love never changes. His Word is enough. His grace is sufficient. His reign is righteous. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. I wish I could describe Him to you . . . but He's indescribable. That's my King.

He's incomprehensible, He's invincible, and He is irresistible.
I'm coming to tell you this, that the heavens of heavens can't contain Him, let alone some man explain Him. You can't get Him out of your mind. You can't get Him off of your hands. You can't outlive Him and you can't live without Him. The Pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found out they couldn't stop Him. Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him. The witnesses couldn't get their testimonies to agree about Him. Herod couldn't kill Him. Death couldn't handle Him and the grave couldn't hold Him. That's my King.

He always has been and He always will be. I'm talking about the fact that He had no predecessor and He'll have no successor. There's nobody before Him and there'll be nobody after Him. You can't impeach Him and He's not going to resign. That's my King! That's my King!

Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory. Well, all the power belongs to my King. We're around here talking about black power and white power and green power, but in the end all that matters is God's power. Thine is the power. Yeah. And the glory. We try to get prestige and honor and glory for ourselves, but the glory is all His. Yes. Thine is the Kingdom and the power and glory, forever and ever and ever and ever. How long is that? Forever and ever and ever and ever. . . And when you get through with all of the ever's, then . . .Amen!

May GOD be gloried and exalted in our nation once again

As Americans it is our duty and responsibility to take an active role in preserving, protecting and directing the foundation and direction of our nation. One of the most important ways for us as Christians to do that is to vote and support true Christian and Conservative Candidates for elected office in our local communities, states and nation. After registering to vote, Christians need to do research on the candidates themselves, check public records to find out where the candidates stand and not just believe news media and pundits or someone who heard something said by media or pundits. Sadly lies and distortions once told and then repeatedly recirculated through the news media and across the internet and social media, after a short while are given the weight and credibility of FACT, regardless of how far from truth and fact they are.

Public records that show what the candidates have stood for or supported, and if the candidate has been elected before, what they voted for, will tell us what that candidate stands for much more accurately than any thing the candidate or media says about them.

It is time for Christians to stand up for truth and hold elected officials accountable, regardless of political party or whether or not they have a Christian background or not.

Just because a candidate or elected official says they are a Christian and can quote a few bible verses, or says they are pro-life, means nothing if the candidate has consistent support of pro-abortion, pro-gay liberal people.

Just talking about being pro-life doesn't make you pro-life. Action are much louder than words. Regardless of the state of the economy or other fiscal or policy issues, it is NEVER expedient to support someone in elected office who strongly supports the killing of babies or the destruction of traditional marriage and family!

Unrepentant support of pro-abortion candidates screams much louder than pro-life rhetoric.

Supporting those that would destroy the sanctity of marriage instituted by GOD as a picture of our relationship to GOD and our salvation through CHRIST and supporting candidates and elected officials who vociferously protect the killing of babies is taking a stand against the LORD and His established King which is CHRIST.

Pray that this deception and corruption will be stopped

Pray that we would come in repentance for revival and restoration of the Godly heritage and foundation that was established by the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.
May GOD be gloried and exalted in our nation once again. Soli DEO Gloria (For GOD's Glory Alone!)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.—Hebrews 12:1
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the LORD JESUS has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of GOD's grace.—Acts 20:24
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to GOD, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name."
—Hebrews 13:15

A refiner and purifier of silver

Malachi 3:3 says: "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver."

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of GOD.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities

The woman thought about GOD holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: 'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.' She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed..

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'

He smiled at her and answered, 'Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it.'

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire , remember that GOD has His eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Why does GOD allow...

People are always asking “Why does GOD allow abortion?” “Why does GOD allow Christians to be tortured?” “Why does GOD allow ------(you fill in the blank.)” Does GOD really allow all the evil things that happen in the world today? No. GOD tolerates evil. What is the difference between “allow” and “tolerate”? Allowance is giving license. Tolerate says I don’t want this and I will only permit it for a specific time and purpose. To “allow” means that you are giving your approval of it even without your actions. To “tolerate” something means to put up with something for a certain period of time, with the knowledge that although this is wrong and GOD will stop it, He will use it for His glory and purpose. GOD says ALL things work together for the Glory of GOD. GOD created Satan and all other evils for a purpose. And He will let them have some power to carry it out. But only for a limited time period. Then all evil will be bound and cast in to the bottomless pit. So GOD does not allow abortion, He tolerates it for a limited time and it will stop when GOD’s time for it has run out. So He gives Satan some power, so that we can see the great love of GOD and choose ourselves to accept the work of grace. That also means that some will choose not to accept the grace.

The main purpose for the strange events occurring at the Cross

The hill Golgotha (meaning “the place of the skull”) may have been chosen by God for the reason of being an international interpretation of the place of death. There is death all around us every moment, but this place is the only place where a death (Jesus’ death) freed us from sin. Part of the suffering of sin is when you lose sight of the hope that you have in GOD.

The main purpose for the strange events occurring at the cross when Jesus died, were for the benefit of the lost that they might see God and have an opportunity to receive salvation

In Matthew 27, why was it note worthy to tell about the soldiers dividing up and taking Jesus’ clothes? The world will always come away with some part of God. Most of the time, it will be used for evil. But when someone sees truth, then God can use them. They will be repentant. Intellect is not enough. you can know the bible cover to cover, but if you are not submitted to God, if you are not listening for revelation of the Holy Spirit, you will not see God.

Prophesy is not given to see into the future

Prophesy is not given to see into the future, but is like a landmark to a map so that we know where we are in the LORD. GOD gave prophesy to give us hope and encouragement along the way, and to help us to know we are still on the right path. If you are traveling and you see on a map a river bridge or a small town, especially if you have not been this way before, it is kind of exciting to see the bridge or town because you know exactly where you are on the map. That is usually what prophesy really is. When you see the prophesy fulfilled, you know where you are with GOD.
